Block your Lost/Stolen Credit or Debit Card

Losing your card or having it stolen can be a stressful experience, but don't worry - we're here to assist you. It's crucial to act quickly to protect your finances and minimize any potential fraud or losses.

In case of loss/theft/misuse of card:

Immediately report the loss/theft/misuse of your Credit/Debit Card on the Bank's 24X7 Toll Free Customer Care Help Line no. 1800 2099 335 or 1800 1033 817
You may also block the Debit card through SBM Internet Banking or Mobile banking App

Here’s a step-by-step guide to report your lost or stolen Debit card, secure your account, and prevent unauthorized transactions via SBM Internet Banking or Mobile banking App.

Mobile Banking

Step 1 : Login to SBM Bank India Mobile banking App using your Mpin or fingerprint (if enabled).
Step 2 : Click on Menu on the left-hand side corner.
Step 3 : Click on ‘My Cards’ and then on ‘Debit’ OR Click on ‘My Cards’ tab under Quick Links. This will show details of the debit card/s linked to your account.
Step 4 : Click on the Debit Card number you wish to hotlist.
Step 5 : Click on ‘Card Lock’ and authenticate the card block request using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 6 : You will receive a confirmation that your Debit Card has been hotlisted successfully.

Internet Banking

Step 1 : Login to SBM Bank India Internet banking https://retailuat.sbm.bank.in/mfmbs/ib/login.jsp
Step 2 : Click on Menu on the left-hand side corner.
Step 3 : Click on ‘My Cards’ and then on ‘Debit’. OR Click on ‘My Cards’ tab under Quick Links. This will show details of the debit card/s linked to your account.
Step 4 : Click on the Debit Card number you wish to hotlist.
Step 5 : Click on ‘Card Lock’ and authenticate the card block request using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 6 : You will receive a confirmation that your Debit Card has been hotlisted successfully.

Phone Banking
